For centuries, commissioned portrait paintings have been a meaningful way to honor and remember the individuals and moments that hold a special place in our hearts, homes, and communities. A portrait is more than a likeness—it is a lasting heirloom that can be treasured today and passed down to future generations.
I am continually humbled and grateful for the opportunity to work with clients to create such personal and meaningful works of art. It is an honor to help preserve cherished memories and relationships through portraiture, and I deeply appreciate being entrusted with these special commissions.

I am happy to take reference photographs whenever possible, though I can also work from high-quality photographs provided by clients. There is no additional charge for photographing subjects myself unless significant travel is required.
Materials
I work on professionally prepared gessoed panels and stretched canvas using professional-grade paints and materials. With proper care, these materials are designed to remain beautiful and durable for generations.
Framing
Because framing styles and costs vary widely, framing is not included in the commission price. However, I am always happy to offer recommendations and guidance regarding framers and framing options.
